THE SHOE LADIES
Joanna Sacavitch worked in the entertainment industry before she started her career as a lawyer. She and her artist husband and two little girls live in Los Angeles. Joanna and Darci have been best friends since grade school-Joanna’s the business savvy, no-nonsense (very organized) half of a lifetime friendship.

Tamsin Carlson brings the European perspective to our boutique. British born and bred, Tamsin has studied and danced around the world. She migrated to America with her husband and eventually started a family in Silverlake, CA.

Darci Rosenberg worked as a children’s psychotherapist before she had a little girl. In order to stay home with her baby, she started a daycare in her home where she met Tamsin and her children. After 5 years of discussing “what we are going to do when our kids go to kindergarten,” we came up with the idea for Wee Soles.

As former professional dancers, and mother’s of “wee souls“, the founders of Wee Soles have a deep understanding and concern for the care of children’s feet! They recently opened their first children’s shoe store in Silverlake, California- the hipster breeding pocket of LA situated between old Hollywood and Downtown. They have perfected the tricky art of sizing small children’s feet and finding just the right shoe for each distinctive wee personality. The service is excellent, the store is bright, cheery, fun and makes you wish you could get your feet sized and fit into a pair of pink glittery sandals or stegosaurus sneakers. A small section of the store is a gallery for local artists who create art for children. Amazing fairy tale art to high design concepts, it is a fresh and exciting twist on a boutique for children.
